Terms of Service

Version 1.0 · Effective October 8, 2026

These Terms are an agreement between Mintveo LLC ("Mintveo", "we") and the business that uses Mintveo ("you"). They cover our website, the Mintveo app (app.mintveo.com), our store apps for WooCommerce, Shopify, Salla and Zid, and the tracking script those apps add to your store (together, the "Service"). How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. For your shoppers' data, section 6 of these Terms applies and prevails over the Privacy Policy.

Summary

  • Mintveo is a business tool. You use it for your store or agency, and you must be allowed to bind that business.
  • Your data stays yours. We use it only to provide the Service to you.
  • For your shoppers' data, you decide and we process it for you (section 6). You tell your shoppers about Mintveo and ask for consent where the law requires it (section 5).
  • Attribution results are estimates, not guarantees (section 10).
  • You can stop at any time. When you delete your account or uninstall our app, most of your data is deleted 30 days later (exceptions in the Privacy Policy, section 8).

1. Accepting these Terms

You accept these Terms by clicking to accept them when you first sign in. Installing one of our store apps from a page that links to these Terms also counts as acceptance. If you use the Service for a company, you confirm you have the authority to accept for that company, and "you" means that company. You must be at least 18. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Mintveo connects your store and your ad accounts and shows which ads led to which sales. Depending on what you connect, it:

  • reads your orders and products from your store platform;
  • reads your campaigns, ads and results from Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and Snapchat;
  • adds a script to your store that records ad clicks, visits, shopping steps and orders and recognises returning visitors;
  • reports your sales to each ad platform you connect (Conversions APIs). This starts when you connect the ad account, and you can turn it off for each account on the Integrations page;
  • gives reports and recommendations about your ads.

We improve the Service often. We may add, change or remove features. If a change takes away something important you rely on, we tell you in advance.

3. Your account

  • You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email. Keep access to that email secure; anyone who can read it can sign in as you.
  • The person who connects the store is its owner. Owners invite team members, choose their roles, and are responsible for what their team does in the account.
  • Give us accurate information, and tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else got into your account.

4. Connecting your store and ad accounts

  • When you connect a store or an ad account, you confirm that you are allowed to give Mintveo access to it and to its data.
  • Your use of each platform stays under that platform's own terms (for example Shopify, Salla, Zid, WordPress/WooCommerce, Meta, Google, TikTok, Snap). You follow them; we follow the terms that apply to our apps.
  • A platform can change or stop its API, or refuse our access. If that happens, the related part of the Service may stop working. We are not responsible for data a platform gets wrong, sends late or does not send.
  • You can disconnect any account at any time in the app.

6. Data processing terms (your shoppers' data)

Scope. For personal data about your shoppers ("Shopper Data"), you are the controller and Mintveo is your processor (or "service provider").

  • Subject and duration: providing the Service, for as long as you use it and until the Shopper Data is deleted.
  • Who: visitors and customers of your store.
  • What data: the shopper data listed in section 3.4 of the Privacy Policy.
  • Purpose: attribution, recognising returning visitors, and reporting sales to the ad platforms you connected.

Our commitments. We:

  1. follow your instructions. These Terms and your settings in the app are your instructions. We tell you in writing, without undue delay, if we think an instruction breaks the law or if we cannot follow it.
  2. use Shopper Data only to provide the Service to you and to create aggregated statistics that identify no person and no store (section 7), not for anyone else or for our own advertising. We never sell or share it, and we do not retain, use or disclose it outside our direct business relationship with you or for any purpose other than the Service. We confirm that we understand these restrictions.
  3. keep it confidential. Only staff who need it can access it, and they are bound to keep it confidential.
  4. protect it with appropriate security measures: encryption in transit and at rest, hashing of shopper contact details, and restricted, monitored access.
  5. use subprocessors only under written terms that protect the data at least as well as these, and we remain responsible for them. The list is at our subprocessors page. We email the owner at least 30 days before a new subprocessor starts processing Shopper Data. You may object within those 30 days; if we cannot address your objection, you may end these Terms and we refund any prepaid fees for the unused period.
  6. store it in the United States. You agree to this transfer. Network traffic may pass through our provider's global network. For Shopper Data from Saudi Arabia, the standard contractual clauses published by the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) at sdaia.gov.sa apply between you (exporter) and Mintveo (importer) and are part of these Terms; for other countries we apply the safeguards their law requires.
  7. help you answer shoppers' requests to access, correct or delete their data. We delete a shopper's data when you or your platform asks us (for example Shopify's privacy requests). If a shopper contacts us directly, we tell you, and you instruct us to stop processing that shopper's data for your store.
  8. help you with impact assessments and with questions from data protection authorities about the Service.
  9. tell you about a breach affecting your Shopper Data without undue delay and within 48 hours of becoming aware of it, with the details listed in Article 24 of Saudi Arabia's PDPL Implementing Regulations as far as we have them, and the rest as soon as we have it, so you can meet your own duties (in Saudi Arabia, notifying SDAIA within 72 hours). If the breach involves data we received from an ad platform, we also report it to that platform as its terms require, and we coordinate any public statement with you and the platform concerned.
  10. tell you about a request from an authority for your Shopper Data, unless the law forbids it.
  11. delete Shopper Data 30 days after you uninstall our app or delete your account, and from backups within 30 more days, unless the law requires us to keep it. During the first 30 days you can ask for a copy of your reports. We also delete data received from an ad platform when that platform requires it under its terms, and certify the deletion if it asks.
  12. give you the information reasonably needed to show we meet these terms, on request. If that information does not reasonably answer your questions, you or an independent assessor you appoint may assess our compliance once a year, on 30 days' notice, at your cost and under confidentiality.
  13. tell you about foreign law. Mintveo is a US company and is subject to US law, which can allow US authorities to request data we hold. We handle any such request as in item 10 and give only the minimum required.

7. Your data and ours

  • Your data stays yours. You own your store data, ad data and Shopper Data. You give us permission to use it only to provide, secure and support the Service for you.
  • Statistics. We may use aggregated statistics that identify no person and no store (for example how fast our pages load or how many orders we process) to run and improve the Service. We never use data received from Google APIs for this beyond what Google's Limited Use rules allow.
  • Mintveo stays ours. The software, models, design and documentation belong to Mintveo LLC. You get a limited, non-transferable right to use the Service under these Terms.
  • Feedback. If you send us ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.

8. Acceptable use

You will not:

  • break the law or anyone's rights with the Service;
  • try to get into accounts, systems or data that are not yours, or test our security without our written permission;
  • disrupt the Service, overload it, or send harmful code;
  • copy, reverse engineer or resell the Service, or use it to build a competing product;
  • send us fake orders, clicks or events, or alter the script to send false data;
  • use the Service in a way that breaks a store or ad platform's terms;
  • use the Service if you are subject to US sanctions, or in a country under a US embargo.

9. Fees

If you use a paid plan, the price and billing period are shown before you pay, and you pay through your store platform's app billing. Fees are not refundable unless the law or your platform's billing rules require it. If a payment fails, we may pause paid features after telling you. We never charge you for anything you did not agree to. If we offer a free plan or a trial, we may change or end it with 30 days' notice.

10. Results are estimates

Attribution assigns sales to ads using clicks, cookies, hashed contact details and, as a last resort, device characteristics. Browsers, ad blockers, cookie banners and platforms limit what can be measured, so results are estimates and can be incomplete or wrong. Recommendations are suggestions. You decide how to spend on ads, and you are responsible for those decisions.

11. Availability

We work to keep the Service available and secure, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Maintenance, platform outages or events outside our control may interrupt it. Neither of us is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control.

12. Confidentiality

Each of us keeps the other's non-public business information confidential and uses it only for these Terms. This does not cover information that is public, already known, or that the law requires to be disclosed.

13. Disclaimer and limits

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE DISCLAIM ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS:

  • NEITHER OF US IS LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE OR DATA;
  • OUR TOTAL LIABILITY UNDER THESE TERMS IS LIMITED TO THE FEES YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR USD 100 IF YOU PAID NOTHING.

These limits do not apply to your payment obligations, your indemnity in section 14, your breach of sections 5 or 8, or anything the law does not allow to be limited.

14. Indemnity

You will defend and compensate Mintveo for claims by third parties (including your shoppers and authorities) that come from your breach of these Terms, including section 5, or from data you send us without the right to do so.

15. Ending these Terms

  • You can stop at any time: uninstall our store app, disconnect your accounts, or delete your account in Settings > Data & privacy. A deletion can be cancelled for 30 days; after that your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.
  • We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, puts the Service or others at risk, or that we must close by law. We tell you first when we reasonably can.
  • Sections 6 (until your data is deleted), 7, 9 (amounts owed), 10, 12, 13, 14, 17 and 18 continue after the end.

16. Changes to these Terms

When we change these Terms we update the version and date at the top. For important changes we tell you by email or in the app, and ask you to accept the new version when you next sign in. If you do not accept, you can stop using the Service.

17. Law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. We will first try to solve any dispute by talking to each other in good faith for 30 days. If that fails, the dispute is finally settled by binding arbitration administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules, by one arbitrator, seated in San Francisco, California, in English. Hearings may be held by video. Either of us may instead bring a qualifying individual claim in small claims court in San Francisco, and either of us may ask any competent court for urgent measures to protect its rights.

18. General

  • These Terms are the whole agreement between us about the Service.
  • You may not transfer these Terms without our consent. We may transfer them to an affiliate or as part of a merger or sale of our business.
  • If part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a right now does not mean we give it up.
  • We send notices to the email of your account's owner; you send them to [email protected] (privacy matters: [email protected]).
  • These Terms are written in English. If we provide a translation, the English version prevails.
